Granite Fit For The Queen!

London, is one of the most popular areas for Granite and Quartz Worktops in the UK. As the capital city there are many historical places in London which tourists flock to each year.

Due to this, one particular establishment is undergoing a much publicised renovation. Granite4you are proud to announce that we have supplied and installed Granite Worktops at Buckingham Palace, London.

Granite4You were contracted to template and install granite worktops at the palace as part of the £369million refurbishment.

Firstly, the kitchen had to be carefully templated using a laser guided machine. The carved architrave which frames the famous palace windows did not make this easy work! Therefore extra attention was required around this area.

Secondly, the worktop was CNC processed and ready to be installed. The fitters took great care to wrap the granite around the windows without disturbing the architrave.

Lastly, the worktops were framed with 100mm upstands, in order to provide a sleek finish.

The material used was Premium Absolute Black and sealed onsite to provide a glossy, stain free surface!
