Granite Installation Challenge – Skill, Care and Pride.

This Amber White Granite Installation was not the biggest of jobs but required intense concentration, care and skill. The standard of finish shows what you can achieve in your home when choosing the right company for the job. Many potential customers are price orientated, as opposed to quality orientated. We appreciate the value of both. Our aim is to provide a high standard of work, combined with low prices, enabling customers to have the best of both worlds.

The Journey

The customer travelled from Oxford to Kent to choose his own material. When visiting the wholesaler he viewed several new colours not yet featured on our website. By visiting the wholesaler he was able to select his material and make his reservation with Granite4YOU. It was worth the journey and there were no unexpected surprises on the day of installation as he had selected the slabs himself.

This customer had used us previously in the past for a similar job. The previous job also had natural oak beams so he was confident throughout the process that we could achieve the finish he required.

The Granite Installation

The first part of the job was to conduct a digital template. This allowed us to determine the outline sizes, and position of the cut outs. Due to the variance in the timber beams, we handcrafted the beam cut outs onsite for a bespoke finish. When working with not one, but TWO natural products we were concerned regarding the tolerances of both materials. However the fitters managed to wrap the granite skilfully around the beams as seen above.

Allocating additional time to provide a one day installation on such a complex job. The time of completion was 7.30pm on a Friday evening. Thanks to the sheer dedication of our teams we achieved fantastic results!
